2 Corinthians 6 & 7 - Heart to Heart

Paul’s loving appeals to the Corinthians:
1) An appeal for appreciation (2 Cor. 6:1-10)
2) An appeal for separation (2 Cor. 6:11-7:1)

Why we need to separate ourselves from that which is contrary to God’s will:
A. The nature of the believer (2 Cor. 6:14-16)
Righteousness---lawlessness
Light---darkness
Christ---Belial (Satan)
Belief---unbelief
God’s temple---idols

B. The command of Scripture (2 Cor. 6:17)
C. The promise of God’s blessing (2 Cor. 6:18-7:1)

3) An appeal for reconciliation (2 Cor. 7:2-16)
